Although I studied art & design at the college of Beaux-Art school in Chalon-sur-Saône and went on to attend private Art school in Lyon, I still think of myself as being a self-taught as having worked most of my professional life in the creative fields of interior design and brand communications.
I returned to the art world full time and got back into painting & drawing by attending the Royal Drawing School in Shoreditch, East London. I’m now back living in France and I’m now solely dedicating my time to painting and more recently sculpting.
I’m interested in stereotypes and idols created for an ideology or commercial goal. I like to use images that are not connected at first glance. By transforming, mixing and even destroying them, I then recreate new memories and tell new stories.
I like to give the viewer the opportunity to interpret, in their own way and to push them to venture outside their comfort zone, confronting them to a fantasy world that sits between abstract and figurative observations. Sometimes melancholic and ludic reflecting our own emotions.
